Yes. The installer registers Markdown file types so Windows can open `.md` files with Markdown Docs.
Does Markdown Docs autosave?
Saved documents autosave back to the same file. Untitled documents are saved locally as drafts until you choose Save As.

Yes. The toolbar inserts table syntax, image syntax, and a safe video directive that renders in preview.
